Home Who we are News 16 August 2016 At the hospital Sick kids host their own Rio Olympics The Children’s Hospital Foundation was proud to be a part of the mini Olympics school sports day at Queensland Children’s Hospital. Our Olympic and Paralympic medallists faced their toughest challenge yet, as kids from the hospital competed with them to take out first place. Our kids participated in Olympic heats including sack races, three-legged races, ball games and more! Thank you to our Olympian and Paralympian heroes who took time out of their busy training schedule to help us provide a welcome distraction for our sick kids and their families.
