Woolworths and the Children’s Hospital Foundation have a truly special partnership, spanning more than 30 years. Since 1986, Woolworths team members and their generous customers have raised more than $60 million to work wonders for sick kids and their families.

The 250 Woolworths stores across Queensland and northern New South Wales are passionate about making a difference to patients and their families, through in-store fundraising, state-wide raffles, wall token campaigns, telethon parties, events and payroll giving.

Woolworths’ fundraising efforts has enabled us to fund medical equipment in regional hospitals, including paediatric heart monitors, ultrasound equipment and respiratory therapy devices.

In 2018 we were delighted to launch the Woolworths Centre for Childhood Nutrition Research (WCCNR).  The WCCNR represents an extension of our fundraising partnership and a commitment to drive positive social change from innovative research into childhood nutrition.

The amazing partnership with Woolworths makes such a positive impact to many areas of the Children’s Hospital Foundation. When you visit Queensland Children’s Hospital you will be greeted by one of our lovely Woolworths wayfinders volunteers, who will help you navigate your way around the hospital.
