2020 Preclinical and Clinical Research Grant Round & 2020 Research Travel Grant Round

The Children’s Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that the following Grant Rounds are now open:
  • 2020 Preclinical and Clinical Research Grant Round
  • 2020 Research Travel Grant Round

These Grant Rounds will close at 5pm on Wednesday 21 August 2019. 


2020 Preclinical and Clinical Research Grant offers include:

  • People Support Grants – available primarily for the recipient’s salary and assessment is based on the proposed project to be conducted by the applicant. PhD scholarships, PhD scholarship top-ups and various Fellowship grants of between $10,000 – $180,000 per annum (for up to three years) are available.
  • Project Support Grants – available to researchers for project-related expenses and range between $70,000 – $150,000 per annum (for up to two years, depending on the category).


2020 Research Travel Grant Round:

  • Travel Grants – available to researchers (PhD students, postdoctoral researchers (< 3 years postdoctoral) and early career researchers (3-7 years postdoctoral) for a one-off amount of up to $5,000 for costs related to conference travel, accommodation, registration fees and meals.
