Home Who we are News 15 October 2019 Featured News Top Lineup to Host 2019 Nine Telethon A top lineup of Nine’s on-air talent will host the 2019 Nine Telethon across various locations on Saturday, November 16, from 7.00pm on Nine and 9Now. Live from the Sunsuper Contact Centre, headquarters of the Nine Telethon, James Bracey and Allison Langdon will host all the action. They will be among Blockheads, Ninja Warriors, artists from The Voice and others answering the phones to receive donations from generous Queenslanders. “It’s a wonderful night for equally wonderful little people and their families, and I’m excited to have the opportunity, alongside James, to be at the forefront of the fun, encouraging Queenslanders to dig deep for sick kids across the state,” Langdon said. Over at Fortitude Music Hall, the location of the inaugural Nine Telethon Concert, David Campbell will be in his element when Icehouse, Sheppard and ARC (Australian Rock Collective) belt out songs to up the ante on donations. “Having some of Australia’s best artists in Brisbane’s backyard doesn’t happen every day, but for causes like the Nine Telethon it’s just another reason to get to the Fortitude Music Hall to show your support for Queensland’s sickest kids,” Campbell said. With the help of Brooke Boney, the backstage VIP host, viewers will get a grand tour and a behind-the-scenes insight into the featured bands on the concert. For the sick kids and their families, Queensland Children’s Hospital will be the fun-filled hot spot as SMASSHDOWN!, Nine’s interactive and energetic sporting game show, performs a live show for non-stop entertainment. Charli Robinson will host all the fun there, joined by the NOVA 106.9 team to share heartwarming stories of courage and hope. For Brisbane’s business community and other donors, Stevie Jacobs will be encouraging guests to make a difference in the lives of Queensland’s sick kids at The Coffee Club Telethon Ball, one of the state’s biggest charity events of the year. Jess Millward will also be on location to keep viewers up to date on the ball’s festivities. Tickets to The Coffee Club Ball and the Nine Telethon Concert are on sale now. If you would like to make a donation you can call 1800 909 900 or donate online. chevron_leftPrevious article Share Next articlechevron_right Latest News & Events COVID-19 Update from the Children’s Hospital Foundation April 6, 2020 Read more Grants shine spotlight on Queensland women making a difference in child health research March 16, 2020 Read more Help more kids survive open-heart surgery February 25, 2020 Read more Subscribe for the latest news There is always something interesting happening in our world.
