Home Who we are News 8 December 2017 In the community Stefan bringing smiles to the Queensland Children’s Hospital Stefan arrived at the Queensland Children’s Hospital earlier in the week along with Santa and his helpers to bring joy and laughter to sick kids as part of the MASKS annual Christmas toy run. MASKS Foundation is a charity fronted by hair fashion legend Stefan Ackerie, which aims to ‘Make A Sick Kid Smile’ by delivering toys to sick children in hospital for Christmas. Stefan’s helpers prepared hundreds of gifts, packed into giant Santa sacks, and transported via Wrangler Jeeps to the hospital. Police Commissioner lan Stewart and the Queensland Motorcycle police met a number of families with kids in hospital for breakfast at Jo-Jo’s Restaurant on Melbourne Street. Then the Christmas convoy travelled in a loud, brightly-coloured pack to deliver presents and toys to every single ward and every single child in the new hospital. Seeing the joy this brings to sick kids and their families is testament to the ongoing generosity of Stefan and the local community and we thank you.
