Over 50 million people worldwide are regularly jumping into a dragon boat; it is a sport for all ages and crosses all cultural divides to bring people together. This dynamic and exciting sport has deep historical roots but is roaring into the modern ages with competitive and exciting events such as Paddle for Kids. Paddle for Kids is back to Brisbane’s beautiful South Bank Parklands precinct on Saturday 16 June 2018! Last year over 300 participants from South East Queensland businesses picked up a paddle raising over $52,000 to help sick kids. Alongside the dragon boat regatta is a day of family fun that includes live performances, food trucks and kids workshops. This year’s Paddle for Kids is set to be bigger and better than ever! Lets all help sick kids laugh and smile, get better and go home sooner.
