Home Who we are News 27 July 2020 News Wonder Moments The wonder has continued! Wonder moments come in all different shapes and sizes and despite COVID-19 changing the way we do things, the wonder hasn’t stopped. With the support from our wonderful community and partners, we have been able to continue working wonders for sick kids! Here are some of the highlights… We received some truly amazing donations from individuals, business and partners including Pizza to feed the #healthheroes and front-line workers Balance bikes from Avani Bikes Activity packs from Forest Lake Girl Guides Teddies from Pharmacy Guild of Australia and Wild Republic Australasia Books and toys from P4 Group and trolley loads of fun from Big W. We celebrated some special days including Anzac Day, Mother’s Day, and some very special birthdays. The hospital isn’t the same without the volunteers. The volunteers were as sad as we were when we had to stand them all down. So during National Volunteer week we wanted to make sure they knew how missed and appreciated they were. The way we do things may have changed but the reason we do them certainly hasn’t! We are so lucky to meet amazing kids every day, who despite everything they are going through still smile, laugh and make the most of everything. Over the past few months, we have met lots of new wonder warriors and we have been very excited to catch up with a few old ones. chevron_leftPrevious article Share Next articlechevron_right Latest News & Events Help sick kids and win big!
