Because play is serious

Thank you for bringing smiles to sick kids - there's still time to donate!

COVID-19 is making hospital even tougher for sick kids. We're on a mission to supply toys and entertainment packs to put play back into their day! We set a target of supporting 1000 sick kids and you smashed it! Thank you to everyone who has helped bring smiles and fun to sick kids. You can still donate and we will continue to distribute toys and entertainment into Queensland Children's Hospital over the coming weeks.

Help us bring smiles to sick kids in Queensland Children's Hospital right now!

It’s never easy being a sick kid in hospital, but with visitor restrictions in place, and reduced entertainment and support services, being in hospital has never been tougher.

Sadly, for many sick kids’ self-isolation is not a new experience, but with extra restrictions in place, it can be even more scary and isolating for kids and their families.

Will you send a surprise to a sick kid in bed?

PLAY allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength.

PLAY is important to healthy brain development. It is through PLAY that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them.

Feelings of isolation, loneliness and fear can increase for sick kids if they have days without play and interaction.

Whilst our face to face services have been scaled back our determination and passion to work wonders for sick kids hasn’t.

We are on a mission to make PLAY possible despite recent circumstances.  With your help we can continue to add a little wonder (even from a distance) and keep sick kids smiling by bringing PLAY to their day.

Please give $25 to help us bring entertainment to sick kids. With your help we can provide personalised toy and entertainment resources tailored to their age and interests.

Your gift will show sick kids that they are not forgotten, and that they’re not alone
