Important update:

The closing date for the Mary McConnel Career Boost Program for Women in Paediatric Research Grant Round has been extended to 12pm Tuesday 7 April to assist applicants affected by the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. The date of the interview remains unchanged.

Applications should be submitted online at https://childrens.smartygrants.com.au/2020WIS

The Mary McConnel Career Boost Program for Women in Paediatric Research will offer support to outstanding female researchers to increase research delivery and dissemination and therefore ‘boost’ the researcher’s track record and competitiveness for future funding. Successful applicants will be awarded $50,000 financial assistance for a one-year period and mentoring support from a research expert.

All proposals must convey how the funding awarded will be used to achieve this purpose and overcome any barriers that the researcher has experienced. Applicants will be required to define their own ambitious key performance indicators, which will be used in conjunction with standard metrics to measure the success of the grant.

All applications must be submitted online at: https://childrens.smartygrants.com.au/2020WIS
