Juiced TVHome What we do Patient and Family Services Juiced TVWe’re giving sick kids the best place in the world to get better, with innovative and fun entertainment designed to help them heal.Juiced TV is the TV show made by the kids in hospital, for the kids in hospital. Each week, the Juiced TV crew film and broadcast a 25-minute kids TV show at the Queensland Children’s Hospital and some regional hospitals around Queensland.Patients and siblings are the stars of the show – hosting and interviewing in each segment, while also helping produce content. Weekly days of ‘hands on happiness’ (filming days) give all patients and their families the chance to take part in making the show when they get up close with amazing animals, hands on with cooking, musical workshops, sports, craft, and meet their favourite celebrities and sporting idols. The Juiced TV program also creates experiences for patients and families outside of hospital walls. Whether it’s a behind the scenes look at Cirque du Soleil, diving in for a reef snorkel at Sea World, or getting preview tickets to the latest and greatest movies to hit the big screen, Juiced TV is helping to give sick kids back their childhood. In its first two years, Juiced TV has filmed with more than 1400 sick kids and their families, and facilitated more than 100 days of entertainment at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, and 40 patient experiences outside of hospital walls.BE A PART OF JUICED TV!
