  • Reporting to the Director of Patient and Family Support, this role oversees the day to day running of all entertainment programs and initiatives, and manages the Entertainment Service Coordinator, Volunteer Supervisors, volunteers and resources.  It will be a busy role that will focus on:
  • The day to day management of all Entertainment Services and programs for patients and families, and hospital staff, throughout the hospital;
  • Developing and maintaining relevant stakeholder relationships to ensure the effective delivery of services;
  • In conjunction with Entertainment Services team, training new volunteers according to induction policies and procedures;
  • Managing the hospitals entertainment and distraction resources and the Foundations In-kind donation program;
  • Managing budgets for specific areas of responsibility, control expenditure and maintaining appropriate asset registers.

The Partnerships team oversee an unrivalled group of engaged and dedicated partners committed to financially supporting the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Marketing & Fundraising Officer, the Head of Partnerships is responsible for leading the Partnerships team, managing valuable corporate and community relationships; and driving a level of partner commitment that retains and increases both engagement and revenue.

This critical role is also tasked with heading up the Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Annual Nine Telethon – a unique and extraordinary fundraising event that generates significant revenue and profile for the organisation.

To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrated track record of significant success in a similar role within the NFP space, having delivered exceptional outcomes in generating corporate partnership revenue for an organisation.
