Woolworths Centre for Childhood Nutrition Research

Making an impact on childhood nutrition.

Since 1986, Woolworths and the Children’s Hospital Foundation have worked together to support the health of children in our community. The partnership has resulted in more than $60 million dollars raised to fund the work of the Foundation.

The Children’s Hospital Foundation, in partnership with Woolworths, has committed $5 million to the Woolworths Centre for Childhood Nutrition Research, an exceptional research collaboration that will ultimately result in healthier Australian children with healthy futures.

The Woolworths Centre for Childhood Nutrition Research and the Children’s Hospital Foundation share a purpose: to improve the nutritional health of all Australian children.

About the Centre

In 2018, through the incredible support of Woolworths, the Children’s Hospital Foundation launched the Woolworths Centre for Childhood Nutrition Research.

This Centre is a powerful alliance of researchers and health practitioners from universities, hospitals, government and nongovernment agencies, plus community members.

Research projects

One of the unique features of the Woolworths Centre for Childhood Nutrition Research is that it will conduct research from preclinical studies all the way through to public health.

This research harnesses the combined resources of experts who can improve the health and life prospects for children.
